Prior to leading Vivacity Healthcare, Edirin served as a Senior Support Worker, specialising in providing dedicated support to clients with multiple sensory loss, where advanced knowledge of British Sign Language, including tactile communication, was applied daily. His exceptional communication skills enabled him to ensure their needs were met with precision and empathy.
Edirin’s commitment to professional development is evident through a robust background in training and continuous learning. He has a Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care and is actively preparing for the Assessor qualification, further enhancing his competencies in workplace assessment and mentorship.
Another of his specialist skills is PMVA (Prevention and Management of Violence and Aggression) training and this means he can effectively and safely respond to challenging behaviours. This is complemented by his broad experience working in various mental health and complex care environments, allowing for a nuanced understanding of diverse client needs.
Edirin’s entrepreneurial journey began with successfully founding and managing businesses in Nigeria, which cultivated his strong business leadership and management skills, skills he now applies to Vivacity Healthcare’s strategic growth and operational excellence.
