Modern Slavery Policy Statement

Vivacity Healthcare

Introduction
This statement is made pursuant to Section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and outlines Vivacity Healthcare’s commitment to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking within its operations and supply chains. Modern slavery encompasses slavery, servitude, forced labour and human trafficking, all of which are violations of fundamental human rights. Vivacity Healthcare has a zero-tolerance approach to such practices and is dedicated to ensuring ethical and transparent business conduct.

Organisational Structure
Vivacity Healthcare operates in the healthcare sector, providing services across the United Kingdom with a diverse supply chain. Our operations involve clinical and non-clinical teams, suppliers, and partners who are integral to delivering high-quality healthcare services.

Policies and Procedures
To mitigate the risk of modern slavery, Vivacity Healthcare has implemented the following policies:

  • Supplier Due Diligence: All new suppliers undergo a modern slavery risk assessment. High or medium-risk suppliers are subject to a comprehensive questionnaire and remedial actions if concerns are identified.
  • Employee Safeguarding: We confirm the identity and right to work of all new employees. Vivacity Healthcare is a National Living Wage employer, ensuring fair treatment and remuneration.
  • Whistleblowing and Reporting: Our Speak Up Policy empowers employees to raise concerns about suspected wrongdoing, including modern slavery, through confidential channels.

Training and Awareness
All employees receive training on modern slavery as part of our Safeguarding programme, which includes Levels 1 through 4 for clinical and non-clinical staff. This training ensures employees can identify and respond to signs of modern slavery effectively.

Risk Assessment and Management
The most significant risk of modern slavery lies within our supply chain. We engage directly with senior representatives of our main suppliers to understand and address modern slavery risks. Our Supplier Management and Procurement Policy provides guidance and tools for identifying and mitigating these risks.

Commitment to Continuous Improvement
Vivacity Healthcare is committed to annually reviewing and enhancing our policies and practices to address modern slavery risks. We aim to make year-on-year progress in improving outcomes for workers in our business and supply chains.

Approval
This statement has been approved by the Board of Directors of Vivacity Healthcare and will be reviewed annually to reflect ongoing efforts and improvements.
